I love my family.
Specifically my extended family. Double specifically my cousins from the great state of Ooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plaaaains! (I'm truly sorry. I couldn't help myself...) Anywho, I haven't seen my cousins for a year. It's usually a rarity to even see them once a year. We're lucky enough to get a whole week of them this year, and trust me, we're loving every moment.
My dad's side of the family is Irish, and proud to be it. Out of the 11 cousins, 7 are gingers. Imagine if you will, 7 ginger kids running around the same house. It's a party, let me tell you. The three cousins in from OK are older than me. I never realized how nice it is to have older kids in the house. I'm the oldest out of my family's 4 kids, so having kids older than me around is definitely a different feel, and I really love it. I look up to my cousins so much. The three of them not only tolerate each other, but they seriously love each other. Mary Kate and Amanda actually have an apartment together, and Brendan lives just down the street. Watching them interact makes me look forward to growing up and getting closer to my siblings, because they all have so much fun together. Not to mention they have fun with us, too.
Since they've been here, we've watched countless hours of youtube, snuggled and watched Wipeout and AFV, played cards, had a Harry Potter movie night, eaten soo much food, played Mario Party (Nintendo 64 version, naturally), taken "Ginger count 7" pictures, laughed until we've cried, played the screaming game...seriously, I could go on for another hour.
Now, why am I telling you all of this? How in the world does this pertain to you? Here's a hint...
it doesn't.
I'm just over the moon right now, and I wanted to share with my one blog reader how much I love her and wish she could stay here in good 'ole Indy forever.
love you to the moon and back, Amanda Margaret. Always and forever.
