The girl who always made fun of people with blogs is now making a blog...what has this world come to?
Hey, this looked like way more fun than studying for my AP Lit final...then again, anything looks more fun than studying for me. So, I guess that's the reason for the birth of this blog. Procrastination. I'm the Queen, no...the Dictator of the Procrasti-nation. It's becoming bad...
But, enough about school and on to the stuff that this blog is actually going to consist of. Will there be profound thoughts? Probably not. Will this be random spatterings from my life that have absolutely no relevance to anything? Most likely the answer would be yes.
So, to start off this blog about absolutely nothing, let's talk winter break. I cannot wait for school to be over. Test taking is definitely not my strong-suit...so I'm sure you can imagine my feelings towards finals week. But thank the good Lord, I've only got two more days to get through. Two. More. Days. I think I can, I think I can...
So to get me through my finals week, I've been thinking about all of the fun things I'm going to do over break. My life is hectic 99.8% of the time, so actually having free time will be unheard of for me. I. Can't. Freaking. Wait. Here's my to-do-over-winter-break list.
- Paint my room. My sister and I have been meaning to do this for months. So, time to grab your paint brushes kids, because this hideous electric green is about to be painted over by soothing turquoise blue.
- Read! I'm an awful reader. I literally cannot remember the last time I actually read a book that wasn't an assignment...then again, I can't remember the last time I actually ready a book that WAS an assignment...that's beside the point. I WILL read solely for leisure this break. Will it be the book I'm assigned for AP Lit? No. Will it be Harry Potter? Probably. Baby steps.
- Play my poor neglected guitar. I've been playing for about 3 years now, but I haven't played for months because I've been so busy.
- Work out. I will go to the gym. I will go the gym. I will go to the gym.
And there's my Winter Break Resolutions. So, I guess it's kind of like a pre-new-years-New-Years Resolution...solid.
Ok. I can't avoid it any longer. I have to study. I have my finals studying necessities--Cherry Coke and my Sara Bareilles Pandora playlist. It's go time.
Until next time, enjoy this song in honor of the Holidays and two of my favorite artists.
Rambling Always,
Jillian
